SCHOOL FEATURES

  • We stress the on course playing aspect of your game.
  • Students will play a minimum of 27 holes a day (Day two through Day five) with an instructor.
  • Emphasis will be on shot selection, course management, shot execution and the short game.
  • The learning process takes place not only on U of MD Golf Course, but also at one of the Top 50 rated Public Golf Courses in the United States: Hog Neck Golf Course in Easton, MD. The Easton Club in Easton, MD and the Upland Golf Club in Denton, MD and also the Marsh Course at the Hyatt Chesapeake.
  • Individual instruction in the evening on our lighted driving range at the University of Maryland.
  • Nightly question and answer sessions on rules and all aspects of golf will be held back at the dormitory.
  • There will be a one-hour seminar on how to write a resume for consideration by college coaches.
  • Talks by collegiate players, both male and female, who will give insight into college life.
  • A three to one student to instructor ratio allows for personalized attention for each golfer
  • Close supervision in the dormitory will be provided by our experienced counselors
  • A Player's school Tournament will be held as a finale for your school experience.
